Streetsboro Parks, Recreation and Conservation Advisory Committee: Established in 2010, the advisory committee helps the Parks & Recreation Department meet the recreational needs of the community through; the discussion of public recreation land use (active and passive), including the preservation and conservation of environmental areas of the City, community's need for public education and outreach, public participation/ involvement and recreational needs, and the development and exploration of funding sources for such projects.
Meetings are conducted on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:15 pm

Master Plan Review Commission : This Commission is an appointed commission charged with developing the City's long-range land use plan, i.e. The Master Plan.  The Commission recently completed work on the 2018/19 Comprehensive Master Plan Update and made a recommendation to the City's Planning and Zoning Commission for their consideration, prior to making a recommendation to City Council for adoption.  
The Master Plan Review Commission has completed its duties as outlined in the City Charter for the five (5) year update to the City's current Comprehensive Master Plan, last adopted by City Council in May 2014.  

Charter Review Commission :  The Streetsboro Charter calls for a Charter Review Commission to be convened in 1977 and every five years thereafter for the purpose of reviewing the City Charter and making recommendations for amendments as are conducive to the public interest.  The Commission consists of seven (7) electors of the City, not more than four of whom shall be members of the same political party, nominated by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council. The City's eighth Charter Review Commission was sworn in on January 9, 2017, and is mandated to conclude its proceedings by July 1, 2017.  The Commission meets on the first and third Mondays of each month in City Council Chambers.  For further information, please click on the link to the left.
