You can receive trusted, immediate, and geographically relevant information by text message, email or over the web. By customizing your free account, you can choose to receive any combination of: Alerts (emergency), Advisories (less urgent need to know information), Community Information (day to day neighborhood info) and Traffic (localized traffic info).
Once you set up an account, you can add additional locations if they have set up an account. Live in Streetsboro but work in Brimfield ~ you can get alerts for both. Currently, there are over 8000 public safety agencies using Nixle and the number continues to increase.
